Woodland Hills teams win six awards, elementary team qualifies for World Championships through Western Pennsylvania VEX IQ Robotics Competition State Championships
Four teams represented Woodland Hills at the 2025 Western Pennsylvania VEX IQ Robotics Competition State Championships. They took home six awards, more than any other district, and one elementary team became the first Woodland Hills team to qualify for the World Championships in Dallas.
SPAC Title I Parent Conference at Seven Springs
The State Parent Advisory Council (SPAC) Title I Parent Conference will be held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort from June 30 to July 2, 2025.
The event will provide families with resources to enhance their student’s achievement, an opportunity to learn more about the role of parents and families in education, and time to network with others from across Pennsylvania. In addition to the resources provided to the adults, the children can participate in a fun-filled Kids Camp!

Four VEX IQ Robotics Competition Teams Qualify For States
Woodland Hills hosted the final VEX IQ Competition of the regular season in Western Pennsylvania on Friday, February 21. With two teams already qualified for states, a third Woodland Hills team used the tournament to earn their spot, while a fourth has also learned they've qualified.
